Visitors Centre
Ever wondered what happens to your recycling once it has been collected?
Now you can find out through a FREE visit to the new East Cornwall
Recycling Visitor Centre in Bodmin.
A visit to the centre offers an excellent opportunity to learn more
about waste reduction and recycling and to see, firsthand, what happens
to your recycling after it has been collected you’re your doorstep or
from bring banks. As part of your visit you will have a guided tour
around the materials recycling facility, where you will get a great view
of the process of sorting the recyclables from our safe, purpose-built
walkway. Here you will see the materials arrive at the centre, get
sorted, compressed and then baled ready to go on to the next stage as a
quality raw material.
The visits will be designed to suit the age and interests of your group
and are absolutely free of charge. All visits to the recycling centre
must be booked in advance. For more information about a visit or to
book, please call Helen Selvey on 01208 74617 or email
