Roche Playing Fields Committee
The project
The Roche Playing Fields Committee has recently been reformed with
the aim of raising money to provide new equipment for the playing
fields.
When surveyed for the Parish Plan 47.4% of 7-11 year olds asked for new
swings and 44% of 11-16 year olds said they would like to see a skate/BMX
park in the village.
With this in mind, plans have been drawn up to include these items as
well as a goal post, basketball hoop, zipwire/aerial runway and more.
This ambitious project is expected to cost around £100k and we have
quite a task ahead of us to reach this goal.

Funding
The local council is currently holding approx. £33k, contributed by
developers R. S. Developments as part of their planning agreement. We
aim to raise the remainder through fundraising events and applications
